About Attomax Pro Shafts

Attomax Pro shafts are built for players who want more beef in the shaft but still demand that dynamic feel at impact. Engineered in Korea and manufactured in Japan with tight tolerances and layered graphite construction, our shafts deliver a stable kick that keeps your dispersion tight—even on off-center hits.

Developed with tour player feedback, each shaft features UHM 65T Carbon, TORAYCA™, and NANOALLOY™ materials along with amorphous metal wire for super elasticity and Ni-Ti metal wire for shape memory properties. The ATOM Black family (low launch, maximum penetration) is offered in S, X, TX from 54–74g; the ATOM Blue family (mid launch, optimal carry) in R, SR, S, X, XX, plus Multi-Flex (G) from 46–74g. Every shaft ships raw at 46" with a parallel tip, ready for your fitter to tip and build.

On mishits, the numbers stay down. Your ball flight stays consistent—it doesn't fall off.

XX and TX are the same designation (Tour Extra Stiff). ATOM Blue tour builds are catalogued as 6XX and 7XX; ATOM Black as 6TX and 7TX. G is the Multi-Flex build offered in the ATOM Blue 40g class.

Raw length 46.0" (1168 mm). Parallel tip section, 0.337" ±0.002" (8.55 ±0.05 mm) — the manufacturer-published value used on every ATOM shaft.
Tolerances: weight ±1 g · butt diameter ±0.004" (±0.1 mm) · tip diameter ±0.002" (±0.05 mm).
CPM/frequency, balance point and EI profile are not yet published. The ATOM SHAFT PROFILE sheet provides qualitative tip, mid and handle stiffness labels, not a measured EI profile. Request the tech sheet from the fitting team.

What flex golf shaft should I use?

Flex should follow driver clubhead speed. As a guide: Under 85 mph = Regular (R); 85–95 mph = Stiff Regular (SR) or Stiff (S); 95–105 mph = Stiff (S) or Extra Stiff (X); 105+ mph = Extra Stiff (X) or Tour Extra Stiff (TX / XX). ATOM Blue is offered in R, SR, S, X, XX, plus Multi-Flex (G); ATOM Black in S, X, TX. Flex is a guide, not a rule — a launch-monitor fitting with an authorized fitter confirms the right build.

What is the difference between ATOM Blue and ATOM Black?

ATOM Blue is the mid-launch, mid-spin profile with a mid kick point (the 4G Multi-Flex is mid-high), 46–74g and 2.8°–4.5° torque. ATOM Black is the low-launch, low-spin profile with a mid-high kick point and more tip stability, 54–74g and 2.6°–3.5° torque. Both share the same materials and build standard; choose by the flight you want to see.

What shaft weight is best for my swing?

Lighter builds help generate clubhead speed; heavier builds add control for faster, stronger players. ATOM Blue runs from 46–74g across the 40g, 50g, 60g, 70g classes, and ATOM Black from 54–74g across the 50g, 60g, 70g classes. Most fitters start players around 60g for the driver and move lighter or heavier from there.

What is ATOM Black TS?

ATOM Black TS is the Tour Spec build of the ATOM Black, offered in the 60g and 70g classes in Extra Stiff. Its full weight, torque and dimension specifications are published on the ATOM Black TS tech sheet, available from our fitting team. It is recommended through authorized fitters.

How do I know if I need a new golf shaft?

Signs you need a new shaft include: inconsistent ball flight or increased dispersion, loss of distance without a change in swing, visible wear or soft spots in the shaft, a change in your swing speed (faster or slower than when you were fitted), or switching to a new clubhead that changes the overall weight and balance. If your mishits have gotten worse, a shaft change can often restore consistency.
